Winter is coming
The year is flying by and winter is just around the corner. Make sure your vehicle is winter ready.
Check your tyres have a good tread on them. Make sure your lights are all working so that you can see and be seen. Are your brakes in good condition with plenty of wear left on them? Is your battery ok?

Its a good idea to get in the habit of every month checking your under bonnet fluids such as oil, water , coolant and screen wash.
If you want you can book in with us for a seasonal check to make sure that your vehicle is winter ready. This check includes checking your battery to make sure it has enough life in it. A weak battery isn't going to cope with the extra demand of lights and heating. Don't get caught short.

Why not check when your vehicle was last serviced. You would be surprised how many engine problems we see due to lack of servicing /oil and filter changes. Look after your car, look after your pocket. Servicing is a great way to ensure your vehicle is winter ready. We recommend every 10,000 miles or every year...whichever comes first.

Tyres

Make sure your tyres are at the required depth. The cost of a fine if found to be below the legal limit of 1.6mm is £2500 per tyre.
Good tyres help with fuel efficiency too so worth investing in and saving some on fuel costs.
